Originallt released June 24th, 2010, this is a brilliant and masterfully intense moment for this too short-lived and awesomely youth-spirited Seattle band. The recording was aided by the production and engineering of the prolific, enigmatic and, perhaps, Seattle's lowest hanging fruit, Zach Burba. "Pearly Graves" captures Herr Jazz at their finest and most re-fined'est. With plenty of guest players and singers this album was recorded at Pet Seminary, the U-District house venue whose blood later birthed on-going Funny Button. The x-axis is authenticity and the y-axis is drenched, human drive. Welcome to a(nother) created world.
