This was a benefit compilation created & released on the streets in a 24hr period following the police crackdown of a mass protest in downtown Bellingham in 2001. The protest came to be known as "The Pit Protest" and all funds raised went to the legal defense of those arrested. The compilation was original released in co-ordination with The Corner Pocket [NW], a local music show that aired at the time on 89.3 KUGS-FM.
